EA posts $381 million loss in Q2, offset by 38.5% digital upswing

EA sees yearonyear revenue rise in Q2, digital upswing of 40%



Electronic Arts posted a net loss of $ 381 million for the second quarter ended September 30, an annual increase of 12 1 cent. Net income also decreased slightly, reaching $ 711 million from $ 715 million for the same period last year.
The company did enjoy rising digital sales in the quarter, with an increase of 38.5 per cent of digital revenues of Q2 last year and mobile digital revenues of 36.4 percent. EA Online Auge was offset by a slight decline, with "packed editing and other net income" per year on another 18.9 percent. Software-wise, FIFA 13
