I want to share you the latest Android figure from Jim Magee, aka Jim 1297 (do you remember these older figures?)
Called "tANkDROID", this figure is totally awesome!!! Really love it!!!
Jim was looking to make an Android that looked like a little tank, and thought the head could open as a hatch. He found some bits and pieces and then weathered it to look a bit battle scarred, then painted up a 1970s' Tamiya US tank driver to go inside.
Jim has tried to give it a retro World War II modelling look. The tracks are from an old Wall-E toy, the guns are 1:35 MIGs and the hatch is from a 1:16 Tiger Tank. The decals are from World War II French Shermans... There you have it tANkDROID, an amazing Android Figure!
