App feature requests and feedback

App feature requests and feedback

Most Android apps on Google Play are built by third-party developers, so Google doesn’t provide support for individual apps. Please contact the individual developers of each app with feature requests, questions and other feedback.
To find contact information for an app’s developer:
  • Find the app on Google Play either on your device (“Play Store”) or on the web (play.google.com).
  • Tap or click on the app in question to get to the app’s details page.
  • On the bottom of the app’s details page, you’ll find contact information for the developer - either an email address, website or phone number.
If you have feature requests, questions or feedback on an app developed by Google (other than the Google Play Store app), please visit the Google Mobile help center for more information as well as contact and feedback options for that particular app.

Connectivity requirements to use Google Play

For Google Play to work properly, from launching the Google Play Store app to downloading and installing an Android app, you need to have strong connectivity on your device. You can connect using a wireless network or via mobile (2G/3G/4G) connection, and either one (if the signal is strong and network is configured correctly) will allow you to use and download from Google Play.
Note:
When downloading Android apps from the Google Play website (play.google.com), physically connecting your phone or tablet to your computer using a USB cable is not sufficient - your device needs one of the two types of connectivity listed above in order to download Android apps.
Signs that you’re having a connectivity issue
There are a few telltale signs that your device is not properly connected to a network or via WiFi, and any of these could affect the performance of Google Play:
  • Downloads never start or are stuck at 0%
  • Downloads work over WiFi but not your network connection (or vice-versa) - this indicates a connection issue with the channel that’s not working
  • You’re receiving persistent server errors
  • You can’t sign in to Google Talk (the app labeled “Talk”)
  • Google Play is stuck on “Loading...” upon launching the Google Play Store app
  • Problems with Google sync
Troubleshooting connectivity issues
If you’re experiencing one or more of the issues above, the problem is related to your connection, so you’ll need to contact either your mobile service provider or your internet service provider (who supplies your wireless network).
To troubleshoot an issue with WiFi yourself, you’ll want to ensure firewalls are not blocking access to ports required to use Google Play (TCP and UDP 5228). Otherwise, for general connectivity troubleshooting, try rebooting the device (turning it completely off then back on) as well as switching into and out of airplane mode.

Cost

Using Google Play to browse and view Android apps is free. Some applications and games may be free to download while others will cost the indicated price to download. Applications that may be downloaded for free will have a "FREE" label.
Please note that application prices are denoted in the seller's home currency, and do not include taxes. You will have the opportunity to view a price with any applicable taxes, with an approximation in your home currency, before confirming the purchase. Learn more about returns.
