As promised in my last post, I've done a big rewrite of MySpeed that allows it to work on devices without the Google API. There are also quite a few performance improvements. There are no functional changes.
This took longer than I hoped because of the long summer vacation, but the upside of that is that I've been running it stably on my phone for a long time.
This is another step closer to the next part of the plan, which is to split the app into a simple and advanced version. Contrary to what I said previously, that'll just be done with a setting, rather than two separate apps.
